Alex is an undergraduate student majoring in biology with a pre-health specialization and a minor in bioethics at OSU. She is originally from Toledo, Ohio, and while new to research, Alex is eager to contribute and learn, aspiring to blend her passion for science with her interest in medicine. She has worked on many projects, including generating growth curves for host-associated microbes in different metabolic conditions and extracting genetic material from microbes for computational analysis.
