Christian is a Ph.D. candidate in the Microbiology department at OSU. He is originally from Isabela, Puerto Rico, and received his BS in Biology with an emphasis in biomedical sciences from the University of Puerto Rico Aguadilla and a Masters in Science in Microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez. He worked with the isolation and characterization of secondary metabolites from termite-associated Actinobacteria to verify their capability to inhibit pathogenic microorganisms. Christian is currently mentoring two of the Bradley Lab Undergrads, Mack Woods and Alex Olzak
