Hello from Pittsburgh! Patrick is giving a talk on his tool phylogenize and some of the exciting work that we all have planned for the new release this summer. Some of our work is already on the github but we have exciting new features planned including a database expansion, new internal methods, and making the tool much more accessible. We have a mailing list for those interested in getting updates for when the tool is ready to be released.

We also have two lab members who are giving presentations Kat and Nghi. Watch for a preprint soon for our work on annotation method comparisons! We are getting a lot of amazing feedback and questions from the community on our work throughout the conference. Huge shout out to the event coordinators for putting on GLBIO 2024. Can’t wait for GLBIO 2025.
